Authorities charged William Vollmar, MD, of Lancaster County, Pa., with indecent assault and corruption of minors after he allegedly touched  a male patient during sports massages and exams, reports ABC 27.

Dr. Vollmar allegedly touched a patient multiple times at his home and office from 2010 to 2018. Dr. Vollmar is awaiting trial for seven felonies and five misdemeanors related to alleged sexual assaults of six other male patients between 1997 and April 2019. He retired in early April following the allegations.

He was a sports medicine physician who practiced out of the Quarryville, Pa., location of Stephen G. Diamantoni M.D. and Associates.

Dr. Vollmar had several contracts with local school districts and worked with the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association for 19 years.

Thirteen more accusers — including a 15-year-old boy and an elderly woman — recently came forward and the state attorney general's office is seeking to include their testimony in a potential trial.
