Florida Panthers' Nick Bjugstad had spine surgery at the Mayo Sports Clinic in Minneapolis, according to a Sun-Sentinel report.
The lower back surgery was successful and Mr. Bjugstad is expected to make a full recovery. He had lower body soreness for several weeks before undergoing surgery, and played up until last Saturday's game.
