James Andrews, MD, operated on Stanford (Calif.) University running back Bryce Love's torn anterior cruciate ligament, Yahoo Sports reports.

1. Dr. Andrews performed Mr. Love's surgery Dec. 18, 2018. The 21-year-old is expected to make a full recovery.
2. Mr. Love sustained the injury during Stanford University's final regular season game Dec. 1, 2018.
3. Currently undergoing rehabilitation at Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Mr. Love will attend the NFL Scouting Combine in February with limited participation.
4. Mr. Love said he is focused on preparing for the 2019 NFL Draft in April.
5. Dr. Andrews is a founding partner of the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. His center is internationally recognized for its sports medicine treatments.
6. Dr. Andrews is the Tampa Bay Rays' orthopedic medical director.
