Pat Connor, MD, performed an arthroscopic procedure on Carolina Panthers' quarterback Cam Newton's right shoulder, the team announced.
What you should know:
1. Mr. Newton missed the final two games of the 2018 season because of shoulder soreness.
2. He will begin rehabilitating from the procedure immediately.
3. Dr. Connor is an orthopedic surgeon at Charlotte, N.C.-based OrthoCarolina.
4. This is the second time Dr. Connor operated on Mr. Newton.
