All Pensacola, Fla.-based Baptist Health Care facilities, including the Andrews Institute ASC, postponed all elective procedures after Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order halting elective procedures, NorthEscambia.com reports.
What you should know:
1. Baptist Health Care also implemented a no visitors policy, with few exceptions.
2. All visitors who are approved will answer CDC screening questions and undergo temperature checks.
3. Along with Andrews ASC, procedures at Pensacola-based Baptist Medical Park-Nine Mile ASC, Pensacola-based Baptist Hospital, Gulf Breeze (Fla.) Hospital and Jay (Fla.) Hospital have all been postponed.
4. The hospital will continue to perform time-sensitive and urgent surgeries on a patient-by-patient basis.
