Andy Christensen, former founder and president of 3D printing company Medical Modeling, joined the board of directors at Precision ADM.
Three things to know:
1. Precision ADM uses 3D printing to develop devices for the medical, aerospace, energy and industrial sectors.
2. Mr. Christensen was at Medical Modeling from 2000 to 2014, where the company was involved in the initial FDA U.S. clearances for 3D-printed implants for orthopedics and spine.
3. Medical Modeling was acquired by 3D Systems in 2015 and Mr. Christensen left the company to pursue other interests.
