NuVasive hosted its 2nd Annual Spine Summit, bringing healthcare leaders and professional athletes to discuss the future of spine care.

1. The summit included interactive sessions on employer-payer collaboration, service line partnerships and healthcare policy, as well as the clinical and economic value of spine diagnostics.
2. Speakers at the event included industry leaders from health systems, ambulatory surgical centers and clinics across the country and government policy experts.
3. Keynote speaker Archie Manning shared his personal story after undergoing NuVasive's XLIF procedure. Mr. Manning suffered nerve compression caused by two collapsed discs on the left side of his lumbar spine.
4. Healthcare leaders from United Healthcare, Aon Hewitt, Virginia Mason Medical Center and The CORE Institute are among those who spoke.
5. CEO and chairman of NuVasive Gregory Lucier said, "Our goal in hosting the Spine Summit is to create the leading platform for discussion and collaboration between those who can better capture and measure outcomes while reducing healthcare costs to influence improvements in overall spine care."
