Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health plans to open a $50 million sports and orthopedic center in Waco, Texas, March 2, local news affiliate KWTX reports.
The facility has an orthopedic and sports medicine clinic, an orthopedic surgery center, a rehabilitation and training facility, an indoor turf track, zero-gravity treadmills, and half a basketball court.
The health system started developing the site in November 2018. Operational project lead Cameron Kaufhold said, "This is an all-encompassing facility, which is really special for it to be in Waco."
