A 23-year-old man was arrested on March 26 after police said he attacked a woman in the parking lot of the Oklahoma Center for Orthopaedic & Multi-Specialty Surgery in Oklahoma City, reports KFOR.
The woman was an employee on her way to work at the surgery center.
The attacker hit the woman in the back of the head, inflicting a 2-inch wound, and stole her purse, according to police.
Police located the alleged attacker in a getaway car with the victim's ID and cards.
He was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, concealing stolen property and robbery with a firearm.
