Omaha-based OrthoNebraska is teaming with the Omaha Metro Health Care Coalition to gather and disinfect masks for healthcare facilities and first responders during the coronavirus pandemic, the Omaha World-Herald reports.
OrthoNebraska is using a UV light tower to disinfect the masks and return them to the original wearer.
The first set of masks were disinfected on April 13.
Once fully operational, OrthoNebraska will be able to disinfect hundreds of masks per day.
