Allison Farmer is Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho's new CEO, the practice announced Sept. 9.
Ms. Farmer will transition to her new role in October. In 2013, she was hired as CFO of the practice previously known as OrthoWilmington, and in 2016 the practice merged with three others to form EmergeOrtho.
"Allison has been with EmergeOrtho since our inception and knows the inner workings of our organization," Frank Aluisio, MD, president of EmergeOrtho said in a news release sent to Becker's. "She has been instrumental in developing and completing many of the shared business initiatives within our statewide practice."
Ms. Farmer received her bachelor's degree in business administration and her master of accounting from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
