Spire Orthopedic added Providence-based Ortho Rhode Island and its affiliated ASC, the management services organization said June 26.
Ortho RI has 35 physicians and was founded in 2015 after four practices merged, according to a news release. The practice has six locations along with its ASC. It will operate under its current brand, and CEO Michael Bradley, MD, will also assume the role of chief medical officer.
"We are excited to partner with the team at Spire to leverage their capital and management resources to continue to grow Ortho RI in ways that allow us to expand access to our high-quality care in both new and existing markets," Dr. Bradley said.
Spire Orthopedic Partners' network spans over 40 locations in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
