Here are four health systems from across the U.S. that have opened orthopedic and spine practices in the last month, as reported by Becker's since July 2:
1. Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare opened a new orthopedic office in Peru, Ill. It also partnered with OrthoMidwest, and plans to open a joint venture clinic in Oak Lawn, Ill.
2. Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Children's Hospital opened a $179 million orthopedic facility, the Livingston Orthopedic and Surgery Center.
3. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Eau Claire, Wis.-based Mayo Clinic Health System Diagnostic Imaging & Sports Medicine Center.
4. Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Health opened a new orthopedic surgeon's office in La Porte, Ind.
