Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network plans to transition its musculoskeletal services into a single medical center, according to The Morning Call.
The LVHN-Hausman Road will be located in Allentown. The new medical center brings spine and orthopedic services under one roof as well as other Leigh Valley Physician Group practices. LVHN's joint replacement team, along with orthopedic spine surgeon Jeffry McConnell, MD, are among the physicians moving to the new facility.
LVHN-Hausman Road will house the following specialty groups:
• LBPG Orthopedics and Sports Medicine-Hausman Road
• LVPG Physiatry-Hausman Road
• LVPG Pediatric Physiatry-Hausman Road
• LVPG Pain Specialists-Hausman Road
• LVPG Rheumatology-Hausman Road
The new facility offers patients X-ray services as well as lumbar epidurals under fluoroscopy. LVHN plans to bring in more advanced spine care services in the future.
