Elmwood, La.-based Ochsner Hospital for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine opened its doors Sept. 24, reports New Orleans City Business.
The hospital commenced large scale renovations in October 2017 and now features six ORs, an overnight recover space with 15 private rooms and 22 pre- and post-procedural rooms.
It will be able to treat more than 3,500 patients annually for outpatient and inpatient visits.
The hospital is part of New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System, which features over 4,500 employed and affiliated physicians in more than 90 specialties and subspecialties.
