Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinics and Mid-Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic aim to merge into a single super group with more than 27 locations across the state.
Four things to know:
1. The practices, located in Nashville, Knoxville and Columbia, will have a combined 104 physicians and more than 800 staff members when the merger is complete next year. The practices expect to close the deal by January 2021.
2. The merger will bring all three groups into one technology system. They will also be able to share clinical data, best practices and expertise.
3. Each practice will retain its current name and staffing levels. They will also keep all current locations open and contract with the same insurance plans post-merger.
4. The merger could result in operational and clinical improvements and allows for additional innovation for cost-effective care, according to the practice's website. https://tnorthos.com/
