Intraoperative neuromonitoring services provider Assure Holdings has partnered with neurosurgeon W. Lee Warren, MD, to perform neuromonitoring procedures in Nebraska, the 11th state it now operates in.
Dr. Warren is medical director of the brain and spine center at North Platte, Neb.-based Great Plains Health, which opened in summer 2020. He is former chair of neurosurgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio and performs about 250 procedures a year.
Developing "promising physician relationships" is a key part of Assure Holdings' expansion strategy, "both those that we developed ourselves as well as referrals from medical device distributors, as was the case here," CEO and executive chair John Farlinger said in a July 29 news release.
Dr. Warren said he chose to align with Assure Holdings because of its "ability to provide consistent, high-quality intraoperative monitoring services and deliver improved patient outcomes.”
Over the past three years, Assure Holdings has expanded into 10 states outside of its Colorado base, including Texas, Nebraska, Arizona, Michigan and South Carolina.
