Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Vincent McInerney of New Jersey Orthopaedic Institute

Vincent K. McInerney, MD, is a foundering member of New Jersey Orthopaedic Institute in Clifton. Dr. McInerney is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has served on the board of trustees and research committee of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. McInerney is the longest standing committee chairman of the Medical Society of New Jersey's Committee on Medical Aspects of Sports.

Dr. McInerney is the assistant dean, professor and chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery, director of sports medicine and team physician at Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences in Newark, N.J.

 

He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He underwent his residency at Saint Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
