Orthopedic surgeon John D. Osland, MD, joined Jefferson Healthcare Orthopedic Clinic in Port Townsend, Wash., according to ptleader.com.

1. He specializes in knee replacements, sports medicine and knee and shoulder arthroscopy.
2. In his new role, Dr. Osland will lead the clinic as it adds more surgeons and two physician assistants.
3. The clinic is also moving into new offices in October.
4. Dr. Osland earned his medical degree from University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks.
5. Following medical school, Dr. Osland completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City.
