David J. Raab, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, a practice with 20 locations in the Chicago area. His clinical interests include cartilage restoration, joint replacements and sports medicine.
He is one of the founding physicians of Illinois Bone & Joint Institute and practices at three of the practice's office locations in Buffalo Grove, Morton Grove and Des Plaines. His hospital affiliations include Park Ridge, Ill.-based Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Morton Grove, Ill.-based Illinois Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery Center. His research has been published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine and he is an associate master instructor of the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Raab earned his medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, where he also completed an orthopedic surgery residency. He went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at the Minneapolis Sports Medicine Center.
