Elizabeth A. Cody, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Cody is also affiliated with New York City-based Weill Cornell Medical College, where she serves as an orthopedic surgery instructor.
With expertise in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Cody's additional specialties include Achilles tendon injuries and conditions as well as minimally invasive foot surgery.
Dr. Cody has authored more than 20 publications on topics such as total ankle arthroplasty and prosthesis in various peer-reviewed journals and textbooks.
She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
After earning her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, Dr. Cody completed her residency at Hospital for Special Surgery/NewYork-Presbyterian. She underwent foot and ankle fellowship training at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Medical Center.
