Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, Idaho, has expanded orthopedic surgery services with the addition of Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons, the Daily Fly reported March 15.
Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons, led by Marvin Kym, MD, and Sunshine Huffman, an orthopedic certified nurse practitioner, according to its website.
Dr. Kym has almost 30 years of experience as an orthopedic surgeon — both in private practice and with regional health systems — and has had privileges at Gritman Medical Center since 1994. Services provided by Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons include joint reconstruction and replacement, ligament reconstruction, sports medicine, joint injections and general orthopedics.
Ms. Huffman, who has worked in orthopedic surgery for more than 20 years, is the first and only orthopedic-certified nurse practitioner in Idaho, according to the report. She has worked in orthopedic surgery for more than 20 years.
