Orthopedic surgeon Patrick Tyrance, MD, acquired Delray Beach (Fla.) Cryo, according to a Feb. 27 news release.
Dr. Tyrance, a former LA Rams linebacker, founded Tyrance Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and Avastar Health Systems, both in Delray Beach. The cryotherapy company will rebrand as Avastar Cryo, and Joel Cruzada will lead the transition process.
Tyrance Orthopedics & Sports Medicine offers general orthopedic care, hip and knee reconstruction, pain management and spine care, according to its website.
