The U.S. has five female billionaires who made their fortunes from the healthcare industry, according to Forbes' live net worth tracker.
Of those women, three made their wealth from the musculoskeletal industry. Here are the three richest women in orthopedics in the U.S.:

Ronda Stryker ($7.9 billion) is a director of medical equipment company Stryker. Stryker was founded by Ms. Stryker's grandfather, Homer Stryker. She owns about 6% of Stryker and sits on the company's board of directors.
Pat Stryker ($3.8 billion) is a grandchild of Mr. Stryker. She now works as a philanthropist, founding the Bohemian Foundation, which supports music, community and civic programs.
Amy Wyss ($2 billion) is the daughter of Hansjoerg Wyss, who founded medical equipment company Synthes. Ms. Wyss worked at Synthes for years before it was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2012 for $19.7 billion.
