9 Midwest practices adding surgeons in September

Here are nine Midwest orthopedic and spine practices that added new clinicians in September: 

1. Michigan Head and Spine Institute added Stephen Hofmeister, DO, to join the interventional pain program.

2. University of Michigan-Sparrow Orthopedics added Ian Ridge, MD, to its staff. Dr. Ridge is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity issues.

3. The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka added spine surgeon Olusegun Onibonoje, DO.

4. Orthopedic surgeon Jordan Willis, MD, joined Emporia, Kan.-based Newman Regional Health.

5. Carson City-based University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Carson Orthopedics and Sports Medicine added orthopedic surgeons Jamie Furness, MD, and Paull Cameron Gossett, MD. 

6. Chad Amato, MD, a hand and upper-extremity surgeon, joined Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron (Mich.). 

7. Carmel, Ind.-based Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine added spinal neurosurgeons Miracle Anokwute, MD, and Paul Page, MD.

8. Emporia, Kan.-based Newman Regional Health launched a new sports medicine program through the addition of Justin Clark, a certified athletic trainer. 

9. Dillon O'Neill, MD, joined Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health Physicians. Dr. O'Neill specializes in traumatic injuries and associated post-traumatic orthopedic problems.
