Douglas Dennis, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Denver-based Colorado Joint Replacement.
Dr. Dennis is a past president of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the Knee Society, which honored him with the John Insall Award in 2011 and the Marc Coventry Award in 2003.
Dr. Dennis has been involved with several other professional organizations, including the Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Western Orthopaedic Association.
After earning his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Dr. Dennis completed an orthopedic residency at Columbus-based Ohio State University. He underwent fellowship training at the Denver Orthopaedic Clinic.
