Craig Miller, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at OrthoBethesda (Md.).
Dr. Miller specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic shoulder, elbow and knee surgery and shoulder replacement surgery. He is trained in shoulder and elbow reconstruction for athletes, including Tommy John surgery.
Dr. Miller served as the Washington Nationals' assistant team physician since 2008. In addition, he is a team physician for Rockville, Md.-based Wootton High School, Germantown, Md.-based Northwest High School and Potomac, Md.-based The Heights.
Earlier this year, Dr. Miller became the first physician in the Washington, D.C., area to use the Exactech GPS for total shoulder replacement surgery.
After graduating from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C, Dr. Miller completed a residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York City. He underwent fellowship training at the Los Angeles-based Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, where he cared for major sports teams.
