Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed surgery on Brusdar Graterol, a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Nov. 14, according to a Nov. 15 report by espn.com.
The procedure was to repair the labrum in Mr. Graterol's right shoulder.
Mr. Graterol is expected to return during the second half of the 2025 MLB season, the team said.
Dr. ElAttrache is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He is also the head team physician for the Dodgers and the Los Angeles Rams, the city's NFL franchise.
