Benjamin Berenfeld, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Berenfeld is also affiliated with New York City-based Weiler Hospital and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where he serves as an assistant orthopedics professor.
With expertise in hand and upper extremity surgery, Dr. Berenfeld's additional specialties include disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder as well as nonoperative treatments such as collagenase injections and ultrasound-guided joint injections.
Dr. Berenfeld is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
After earning his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Berenfeld completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center and underwent hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship training at SUNY Upstate Medical University in New York City.
