John A. Abraham, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia.
Dr. Abraham serves as chief of orthopedic oncology at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute.
Dr. Abraham is also affiliated with Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he is the director of the musculoskeletal oncology center.

A fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Abraham is also a member of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, American Medical Association and Connective Tissue Oncology Society.
After earning his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn., Dr. Abraham completed his residency at Boston-based Harvard Medical School. He underwent orthopedic surgical oncology fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Boston's Children Hospital.
