William Davis Jr., MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Northeast Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Airmont, N.Y.
Dr. Davis is also affiliated with Suffern, N.Y.-based Good Samaritan Hospital, where he serves as chief of orthopedics.
His specialties include sports medicine and fracture care as well as arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder and ankle.
A fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Davis is also a member of the Charles H. Herndon Alumni Society, Medical Society of the State of New York and Rockland County Medical Society.
In 2017, Dr. Davis was recognized as a Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctor and among New York Metro Area's Top Doctors.
After earning his medical degree from Stony Brook (N.Y.) University School of Medicine, Dr. Davis completed his residency at University Hospitals Case Western Reserve Medical Center in Cleveland. He underwent sports medicine fellowship training at Farmington-based University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
