Emily R. Dodwell, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Dodwell is also affiliated with New York City-based Weill Cornell Medical College, where she serves as an assistant orthopedic surgery professor.
With expertise in pediatric orthopedics and trauma, Dr. Dodwell's additional specialties include limb deformity, cerebral palsy and hip dysplasia.
Dr. Dodwell is the principal investigator on various ongoing multi-center prospective trials, and she currently holds grants from the Pediatric Society of North America and the Hospital for Special Surgery Clinician Scientist Development Grant.
Dr. Dodwell is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.
After earning her medical degree from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Dodwell completed her residency at Vancouver, Canada-based University of British Columbia. She underwent pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship training at The Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto in Canada.
