The Hip Society and The Knee Society partnered to acquire the Current Concepts in Joint Replacement course.
Three things to know:
1. Created by Dr. A. Seth Greenwald and presented by the Current Concepts Institute, the CCJR course takes place each May and December. The two live events attract more than 3,000 delegates from more than 60 countries.
2. The Hip Society and The Knee Society will work along with Dr. Greenwald and CCI’s staff over the next 18 months for the transition.
3. Dr. Greenwald will continue to work with CCJR.
“CCJR’s legacy as the gold standard in arthroplasty education, nationally and internationally, merged with that of The Knee Society, and its partner, The Hip Society, creates an unprecedented opportunity for us to collaborate and to carry that legacy successfully well into the future,” Robert L. Barrack, MD, president of The Knee Society, said.
