Retired Emory orthopedic surgeon opens nonsurgical practice with son

Paul Richin, MD, an orthopedic surgeon who retired from Atlanta-based Emory Orthopaedics last fall, has opened a nonsurgical practice with his son, Dan Richin, the Atlanta Jewish Times reported June 29.

The Orthopedic Cortisone Injection Center opened in Dunwoody, Ga., in January to provide nonsurgical, non-narcotic pain relief to patients with orthopedic conditions such as arthritis, bursitis and tendonitis.

The practice aims to provide high-quality care while keeping the feeling of small-town convenience and personalization, according to Dr. Richin.

"We schedule patients for same day appointments. Convenience being one our main goals, we strive to evaluate and treat all in one visit," he said. "After a long period of social distancing, we look forward to meeting you, treating you and welcoming you into part of our medical care community."

Dan Richin also serves as CEO of Diagnostic Schedulers in Decatur, Ga.
