1. CMS approved the "Interbody Fusion Device, Nanotextured Surface" code as an XRG code.
2. Providers may use the code beginning Oct. 1.
3. Mequon, Wis.-based Titan Spine presented its nanoLOCK technology to CMS, showcasing its uniqueness.
4. Titan Spine's nanoLOCK technology is the only technology approved by CMS to use the code. However, CMS noted it will add other technologies to this code if companies prove equivalence to the nanoLOCK technology.
5. Titan Spine plans to unveil its next-generation nanoLOCK surface technology, designed to offer exceptional osteogenic and angiogenic environments.
