Sanuwave Health on Feb. 7 appointed Tom Price, MD, to its board of directors.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. Price is an orthopedic surgeon who previously served as the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services.
2. He has more than 30 years of experience in the medical field and represented the state of Georgia for 12 years in the House of Representatives.
3. Previously, Dr. Price served as assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Emory University and director of the orthopedic clinic at Grady Memorial Hospital, both in Atlanta.
