1. Switzerland-based devicemaker Neo Medical landed $20.6 million in funding to support the U.S. launch of an augmented reality spine system.
2. Devicemaker Nexus Spine named Steve Cichy as vice president of sales.
3. Globus Medical saw $250 million in sales in the fourth quarter of 2021 and $958.1 million in full-year sales, according to financial results posted Feb. 17.
4. Medtronic saw increases in its worldwide revenue and neuroscience sales during the third quarter of fiscal year 2022, according to financial results posted Feb. 22.
5. Smith+Nephew reported a 14 percent increase in revenue for 2021 and announced Deepak Nath, PhD, will take over as CEO on April 1.
6. Stryker has completed its $3.1 billion acquisition of Vocera Communications.
