John Steinmann, DO, is an orthopedic surgeon who treats traumatic spinal injuries and degenerative problems of the neck and low back. He is the director of spine trauma at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Redlands, Calif., and an assistant clinical professor at Western University. He is also the president and CEO of Renovis Surgical Technologies, which provides orthopedic products to surgeons and hospitals.
Dr. Steinmann graduated with his osteopathic medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Minn., and a spine surgery fellowship at University of Washington Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
He's a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association, California Medical Association, San Bernadino County Medical Society, American Medical Association, North American Spine Society and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics.
