Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Gwinnett Medical Group added Robert Ayer, MD, to the Brain & Spine Institute at Gwinnett Medical Center, according to a Gwinnett Citizen report.
Dr. Ayer has completed a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle. He also served as a clinical instructor for the department of neurosurgery as well as a fellow in skull base surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He is board-eligible in neurosurgery, according to the report.
