The mansion of Tampa, Fla.-based Laser Spine Institute Founder James St. Louis, DO, is on the auction block, Patch reports.

What you should know:

1. Dr. St. Louis will auction off the $10 million mansion April 30, with a $4.5 million starting bid.

2. The mansion sits on 2 acres of waterfront and is 12,935 square feet. It features six bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half-baths. Its accommodations include a guest house, a pool house, a walk-in wine cellar, a sauna, a home theater and a pool with a water slide.

3. The property has an assessed value of $6.84 million. Dr. St. Louis bought the mansion in 2008 for $2.36 million.

4. Laser Spine Institute abruptly ceased operations March 1, laying off more than 1,000 employees.
