Advanced Orthopedics, a leading U.S. spine clinic specializing in minimally invasive procedures and pain management in Florida, has announced that Dr. Morgan Lorio is joining the practice.
Dr. Lorio received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, completed his residency at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine, and has been in practice for over 30 years.
He has operated as a spine, orthopedic and hand surgeon, and is board-certified in all three specialties.
Dr. Lorio hurt his spine after a fall in 2005, and was able to resume an active lifestyle after surgery without the need for a back brace or medication. His experience has helped him to become a policy expert and advocate for spinal patients.
Licensed to practice in five states and chair of the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery Task Force for Coding and Reimbursement, Dr. Lorio has guided the treatment recommendations for vertebral augmentation and bone graft substitutes, as reported in an interview with Becker’s last month.
