Ronald Warnick, MD, was named program director of radiosurgery and neuro-oncology at Cincinnati-based Mayfield Brain and Spine.
He has more than 31 years of experience and has performed more than 4,200 procedures, according to a June 1 news release. Dr. Warnick will continue his clinical work in treating complex brain tumor patients and performing stereotactic radiosurgery procedures.
"This appointment provides another step in the ongoing development of a collaborative effort with local health systems with the goal of making greater Cincinnati a leading destination for the diagnosis and treatment of complex brain tumors," Mayfield neurosurgeon Vincent DiNapoli, MD, PhD, said in the release.
