Neurosurgeon Mahesh Karandikar, MD, PhD, recently joined McLaren Flint (Mich.), a 278-bed hospital as part of Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care, reports Swartz Creek View.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. Karandikar is seeing patients at Insight Institute of Neurosurgery & Neuroscience in Flint.
2. He graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed his residency at the University of Washington in Seattle.
3. Dr. Karandikar completed a fellowship in spine at John Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore and another in neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
