The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center honored Joseph Maroon, MD, with the 2020 UPMC Loren Roth Clinician of Courage Award. Recipients of the award are commended for being leaders within their community and overcoming adversity.
Heather Pinckard-Dover, MD, became the first female neurosurgeon to complete the residency program at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where she served as co-chief resident for the final two years.
