Daniel Worrel, MD, surgically repaired a torn labrum in the right shoulder of Dallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson, the team announced.
What you should know:
1. Mr. Brunson tore his labrum Feb. 22. The team does not have a timetable for his recovery.
2. Dr. Worrel performed the procedure at the Carrell Clinic in Dallas, where he is an orthopedic surgeon.
3. Dr. Worrel is also the head team physician for the Mavericks.
