Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Deon Butler recently underwent surgery at the Stanford Medical Center in California to repair a broken bone in his right leg, according to a Seattle Times report.
Butler broke his bone in two places during the fourth quarter of a game against the San Francisco Buccaneers. A rod was inserted to stabilize the injury until he could have surgery. Seahawks receivers have been racked with injuries — including hand lacerations and sprained ankles for inactive starters Ben Obomanu and Mike Williams.
