Iowa City-based Steindler Orthopedic Clinic and Progressive Rehabilitation Associates have teamed up to provide sports medicine care for the top athletes in their area.
Here are four things to know:
1. Specialists from both practices will treat Cedar Rapids Titans indoor football team and Cedar Rapids Rampage indoor soccer players.
2. The physicians will offer athletic injury prevention, recognition, evaluation and treatment by treating players' bone, joint and muscle injuries.
3. The two groups signed a contract to become the official medical providers for each team during the 2017 seasons.
4. Steindler Orthopedic Clinic and Progressive Rehabilitation Associates serve patients living in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in addition to the surrounding area.
