The American College of Sports Medicine honored Jack W. Berryman its 2017 Citation Award.

1. Mr. Berryman is a professor in the department of bioethics and humanities and department of orthopedics and sports medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
2. Contributing to sports medicine and exercise sciences research, Mr. Berryman served as editor of the Journal of Sport History, president of the North American Society for Sport History and coeditor of Sport and Exercise Science: Essays in the History of Sports Medicine.
3. Mr. Berryman is one of six honorees being awarded for their leadership and contributions in the areas of research and scholarship, clinical care, administrative serves or educations services.
