LifeNet Health launched the PliaFX Prime allograft surgical solution.
Here are five things to know:
1. PliaFX Prime's interlocking fibers feature microhooks designed to enable the graft to become moldable upon rehydration and resist migration during implantation.
2. It is part of the PliaFX family of moldable fiber-grafts. PliaFX Prime is composed of 100 percent cortical fibers designed to provide moldable handling without the use of additives found in putties.
3. The solution is indicated for spine, trauma, foot and ankle and craniomaxillofacial applications that require a bone void filler to support bone formation in defects.
4. LifeNet Health showcased PliaFX Prime at the North American Spine Society 2018 Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, Sept. 24-29.
