Biologics

BoneSupport launched its own U.S. distributor network.

Here are five things to know:

1. The bone void management company began selling its Cerament Bone Void Filler directly through its new distributor network.

2. BoneSupport recently ended its exclusive distribution agreement with Zimmer Biomet; however, Zimmer Biomet will continue to be a non-exclusive Cerament BVF distributor until April 21, 2019.

3. The new U.S. network currently comprises 25 distributors with 512 sales representatives.

4. BoneSupport will use the network to launch new products from its recent agreements with Collagen Matrix and MTF Biologics in the first half of 2019.

5. The company also aims to target a greater market opportunity for Cerament BVF, increase its ability to drive end-user sales, deliver higher net margins, expand U.S. product offerings and raise brand awareness before the launch of its newest product Cerament G.
